• 1. How does SDF Academy work?
  SDF Academy is an online one-on-one tuition platform which gives you focused academic support in a wide selection of subjects at the school level. Expert online tutors from SDF Academy will engage in LIVE, 1-on-1 sessions with students to provide customized lessons and help them learn at their own pace.
• 2. What is the duration of each session?
  Our online tuition sessions will last for 60 minutes. We have structured our lesson plans in such a way that the student-teacher interaction is no longer than 60 minutes, which has been shown to be the threshold, beyond which a student’s ability to learn deteriorates significantly.
• 3. Will Online tuition be as good as regular tuitions?
  Online tuitions are virtual home tuitions that take place over the internet. The only difference between the two is the online tutor is available at any time convenient to our child, with the added benefit of safe learning from the comfort of your own home. It also saves the child from the risk of commuting, thereby avoiding long hours of travel to a tuition centre. With online tuitions, student can learn from anywhere at any time.
• 4. Will my tutor just give me the answers?
  SDF Academy’s philosophy is to help the students understand the concepts behind what they are working on, so our tutors will help the students to solve the problems rather than directly giving the answers. SDF Academy is not an answer-giving service.
• 5. Can I work with the same tutor again?
  Yes. Once the tutor is assigned to the student after the demo, then the same tutor will be conducting all the classes for the student, only when the student is not comfortable with the tutor’s way of teaching then we will replace the tutor.
• 6. I need more information regarding the payment.
  Our Payment policies are mentioned below:
  a) No Registration fee.
  b) We do not collect advance fee.
  c) Fee will be collected at the end of the month for the number of classes attended.
  d) Even if the student cancels the class at the last minute, there will not be any cancellation charges.
• 7. If I am not satisfied with the tutor, do I get another demo for free?
  Yes. Till the student is satisfied with the tutor’s teaching, our Academy will replace the tutor and conducts the free demo again.
• 8. Do tutors provide homework and conduct tests and assessments as well?
  Yes, based upon the chapters and topic level, periodic assessments are conducted and homework is given accordingly.
• 9. Can I ask several questions to the tutor at once?
  Definitely, we urge students to ask as many doubts as possible. When more doubts are asked by the students then they acquire more knowledge and get exposure about the subjects.
• 10. How can I follow the improvement of my child?
  Parents will be notified about their child’s progress through assignments, tests, and scorecards. Monthly online Parent-Teachers meetings will be conducted to update on their child's improvement. And parent can contact the Academy at any time to get the update of their child’s progress.
